Glen Hacker: "Passion of the Seas" Art Exhibit at the Geary Gallery in Darien CT

DARIEN, Conn. - Hartok -- The Geary Gallery of Darien proudly presents its February exhibit, "Passion of the Seas," featuring the expressive seascapes of Fairfield, CT artist, Glen Hacker. His bold and energetic paintings will be on display February 1-29. The Geary Gallery is located at 576 Boston Post Road in Darien. All are welcome and admission is free.

About Glen Hacker

Glen Hacker is an artist with a passion for painting and sculpting. He graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut with a minor in fine art, and received the award for the most outstanding senior in studio art.

Hacker has concentrated his creative efforts painting seascapes. His paintings express his love of the surf, ocean, beaches, and ponds and the life associated with them. As an avid fisherman, he has traveled extensively in pursuit of saltwater's most thrilling and elusive game fish, and has often been commissioned to paint fishermen and women with their trophy catches.

"My portraits convey the emotions and nature of my subjects in a celebratory way," states Hacker. His award-winning bronzes and oil paintings are included in numerous private collections.
