'Pleasant Smells' are coming from the Robot Monster junkyard.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Hartok -- Metal band ROBOT MONSTER have released their fourth single of 2024 with a new instrumental track titled, 'Pleasant Smells'. The band have been on a scorching path of high octane metal instrumentals after their earlier releases of 2024 were homages to 90's metal with lyrical content included. 'Pleasant Smells' comes off the back of the highly successful instrumental, 'Machine Bones'.
The new songs have showcased the impressive musicianship of guitarist Will Brennan and drummer Logan Sidle. 'Pleasant Smells' continues this trajectory forward as their most technical song yet. Brennan's heavy riffs accompany precise double bass footwork and hi-hat work of Sidle. Tempo changes keep the listener engaged with mixed meter sections and half time grooves throughout the song.
