Old Saybrook Fire Department (CT0141) will be helping Old Saybrook Area Cemeteries to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes on 'National Wreaths Across America Day' Dec. 17
OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. - Hartok -- The Old Saybrook Fire Department is proud to participate in the National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 17, 2022, and is asking local residents and businesses to sponsor a wreath to be placed on local veterans' graves in cemeteries throughout the town.
Please help the OSFD honor our local heroes by purchasing 2 wreaths at $15 each and a 3rd wreath will be provided free. The goal is to provide a total of 700 wreaths to be placed on veterans' graves at Old Saybrook cemeteries on December 17th.
Orders should be placed as soon as possible since all final orders must be received on or before midnight November 28th. A special QR code has been placed on National Wreaths Across America Day posters placed in businesses in town, which can be scanned on a smart phone camera to make a donation online.
