Regional Hospice Appoints ToniAnn Marchione As President & CEO, Successor To Cynthia Emiry Roy

DANBURY, Conn. - Hartok -- Regional Hospice, a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care in Connecticut, has announced the appointment of ToniAnn Marchione as President & CEO.  Marchione succeeds recently retired CEO, Cynthia Emiry Roy, MS, LCSW, CHA.

After 16 years of dedicated service, Roy made the decision to retire.  Under Roy's leadership, Regional Hospice witnessed impressive growth and transformation, enhancing its services and programs to meet the unique needs of patients and families. Roy led the organization through numerous milestones and accomplishments and was instrumental in changing hospice legislation in Connecticut in 2012 to build the Center for Comfort Care & Healing that she envisioned for Danbury.

"On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I want to thank Cynthia and share our sincere appreciation to her for her dedication, loyalty, and commitment to Regional Hospice," said George Mulvaney, Chairman of the Board for Regional Hospice.  "Cynthia dedicated her entire being to the creation, development, and success of Regional Hospice and for that, we will forever be grateful."
