RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Hartok -- Target Arm Inc. is pleased to announce Yash Shah, Robotics and Software Engineer, has been competitively selected for the CTNext Governor's Innovation Fellowship Program.

The Governor's Innovation Fellowship offers ambitious, high-achieving recent graduates the opportunity to work at top innovative companies in Connecticut, developing their careers while working together as a community of fellows, growing together professionally and personally to create a cohort of talent, camaraderie, and growth in the state.

Yash stated, "This is a completely unexpected honor as a recent master's degree graduate from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). As a Robotics and Software graduate student, I have landed my dream job at Target Arm. As I'm already moving to Connecticut, CTNext has further welcomed me with this fellowship. I'm expecting the year-long program will provide Target Arm and me with numerous new contacts and knowledge to help us expand the robotics ecosystem and jobs into western Connecticut."

Target Arm's VP, Lead Engineer and Co-Founder, Ryan Bigham stated, "This fellowship is a great program for our young engineers, as the award is a direct tribute to Yash's hard work as our intern. His research with drone flight controls and localization is directly impacting our Tular device. In addition, our partnership with CTNext over the last few years has far exceeded any of our expectations. Target Arm's very first funding came from winning both the Entrepreneur Innovation Award (EIA) and the Judges' Choice Award in 2019, which propelled us into our first DoD contract and Seed Round funding. As we've continued to grow, their ever-expanding portfolio of targeted early-stage programs helps Target Arm create highly-skilled robotics and software jobs faster."
